Please click on the flyer attached for complete details. We hope to see you there!
As seen on Facebook!
So here’s a picture of me on the poster that’s been traveling arond Facebook for a few weeks now – some guy even lifted it and used it as his profile picture! – but I’m dressed completely in black, nothing fancy for my 330th birthday, respectable concert dress. Bach in Black is just fine with me. It befits my religion and temperament – bollocks to that! I didn’t have 21 children sitting at the pipe organ all day – or did I?! Come to my birthday party tomorrow night. It should be fun. Lots of my friends will be there, not to mention those who know me intimately who are performing my works and others. Join us: Tenri Cultural Institute, March 21st at 7:30 p.m. We can usher in the Spring season together
The NEW YORK CITY ALUMNI CHAPTER of MU PHI EPSILON is pleased to announce its next concert given at TENRI CULTURAL INSTITUTE here in New York City. This concert in March is usually dedicated to the works of Beethoven; however, because Bach’s 330th birthday falls on March 21, the date of the concert, we have decided to dedicate the concert and celebrate his birthday with his works. Please read the flyer below for all details. It is going to be a fantastic concert! In addition to works of Bach, we will be performing works by Mozart, Mendelssohn, and Schubert. There will be a PARTITA and a CANTATA and ARIAS from THE B MINOR MASS and ST. MATTHEW’S PASSION. Please join us for this wonderful concert in celebration of – to use Wagner’s words – the “Great Master BACH!!!”
