Soprano Sean Merriweather  has performed operatic roles in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte (3 Ladies) and Gian Carlo Menotti’s The Old Maid and the Thief (Miss Pinkerton) and has also appeared in musical theatre performing roles in Annie and Peter Pan.  A recent graduate of Emory University where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music and Spanish, Ms. Merriweather studied voice with Kit Prothero, Bonnie Pomfret and Frank Jacobson and dance with Lori Teague and George Staib.  During her college studies, she also performed in master class for soprano Virginia Dupuy and was a member of Emory University’s only female a cappella ensemble “The Gathering” while also singing in Emory’s Madrigal Choir and University Chorus. A native of New Jersey, Ms. Merriweather now resides in New York City and has been a member of Mu Phi Epsilon since 2003.
