Susan Mozeson

Soprano Susan Mozeson has appeared with Operaworks, the Long Island Opera Company, Brooklyn Lyric Opera Company, DiCapo Opera Theatre, New York Opera Forum, New York Opera Productions, and Toledo Opera  performing the roles of Santuzza  (Cavalleria Rusticana), Donna Anna (Don Giovanni), Rosalinda (Die Fledermaus), Mother/Sandman (Hansel and Gretel), Minnie Lansing (The Village Singer), Cathleen (Riders to the Sea), Cio-Cio San (Madama Butterfly), and Tosca.  She has appeared as soloist with the National Opera Club of America, DiCapo Opera Theatre, and the Juilliard Opera Workshop in concert performances of the Fauré Requiem,” Mozart “Requiem,” Verdi “Requiem,” Handel’s ”Messiah,”  Mendelssohn’s ”Elijah,” Schubert’s “Mass in E-flat Major,” and the “Cantata Emmanuel” by Butler.  She has also presented several concerts to benefit children with special needs.  Ms. Mozeson has worked with a number of conductors and stage directors including David Leighton, Susan Almasi, John Eisenhauer, Robert Sonnenberg, Vincent La Selva, Norman Myrvick, Susan Hart, Thomas Carlo Bo, and Michael Capasso.  She was a finalist in the Opera Music Theatre International Competition and the New Jersey Association of Verismo Opera Competition and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music from Lehman College. Ms. Mozeson serves as Vice President of the New York City Alumni Chapter of Mu Phi Epsilon and performs annually on MPE chapter sponsored concerts.
