Sarah Kuras

Sarah Kuras has followed her lifelong passion for music through her studies at Binghamton University, where she completed her BA in Philosophy, Politics and Law and a minor in Music in 2011 and her Master’s in Business Administration in 2012. At Binghamton University, she studied viola with Roberta Crawford and voice with Amanda Chmela, and performed with the Symphony Orchestra, Women’s Chorus, Harpur Chorale, the Nukporfe African Music Ensemble, and made guest appearances with the rock band, The Fine Line.

At Binghamton University, Ms. Kuras was a member of WHRW 90.5 FM, where she served as the Director of Public Affairs and hosted a weekly radio show playing Caribbean music and music of the African Diaspora.

Following internships in development at performing arts organizations Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts in Katonah, NY, and Southern Tier Celebrates!, in Binghamton, NY, Ms. Kuras worked at the Binghamton University Center for Civic Engagement. She currently works in Development at an East Harlem non-profit.

Ms. Kuras was initiated into the Zeta Eta Chapter at Binghamton where she served as Secretary and Inter-Chapter Relations Officer. She joined the New York City Alumni Chapter in 2012.
