Luana Ayres

Luana Ayres has performed as soloist and chamber music artist throughout New York and has appeared at the Salzburg International Music Festival, the Aspen Music Festival, the Mellon Institute and on the Queen Elizabeth II Cruise Concerts. She has also appeared at Pittsburgh Carnegie Hall and as guest soloist on WQXR Radio as well as on recital series at Hunter College, CUNY Graduate Center, Theodore Roosevelt Birthplace, and at the New Rochelle, Ossining and Scarsdale Public Libraries. Ms. Ayres attended Carnegie-Mellon University where she received her Bachelors Degree in Music and Modern Theatre Tragedies. She later received her Master of Music Degree from the Manhattan School of Music where the exuberance of her interpretation of Bach in particular was received with high acclaim. Her primary teachers have been Constance Keene and Ralph Zitterbart.
