Mary Ellen Burrescia

Pianist Mary Ellen Burrescia performs annually within the Wisconsin and Chicago areas and has appeared as soloist and chamber musician with a specialty in duo-piano literature at Tenri Cultural Institute, the Goethe Institute, Charles Allis Art Museum, Villa Terrace Museum, the Milwaukee Art Museum, Kohler Art Center, Roosevelt University, University of Wisconsin, Alverno College, and with the Milwaukee Catholic Symphony Orchestra. She holds degrees from Dominican College and the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music where she studied with Naomi Zaslav and the Fine Arts Quartet in addition to master classes with John Browning, Susan Starr and Ralph Votapek. Ms. Burrescia maintains an extremely active private teaching studio within the southern Wisconsin area and has been featured in the Milwaukee Sentinel for her outstanding work as a teacher and performer. Ms. Burrescia is also actively involved in the Federation of Music Clubs, the Milwaukee Music Teachers Association, MAPTA, and the Macdowell Club of Milwaukee.
