FOUNDER’S DAY CONCERT

Greetings!

You will find the flyer for this season’s first concert above, which will take place on December 12, 2016. Click on flier above for a larger pop up of photo.

All of our recitals take place at Tenri Cultural Institute and begin at 7:30 p.m.

This first concert is of particular interest to many of our audience members primarily because we present our annual scholarship winners. This year we are particularly pleased to present two fine young artists – both students at the Bloomingdale School of Music. The program is a very exciting one comprised of works by well known composers from the Baroque and Romantic eras. Please see the flyer below, as well as the dates of the two other concerts we will be presenting at Tenri in 2016. We hope to see you at the concert.

Greetings!

The NEW YORK CITY ALUMNI CHAPTER of MU PHI EPSILON is pleased to announce its next concert given at TENRI CULTURAL INSTITUTE here in New York City. This concert in March is usually dedicated to the works of Beethoven; however, because Bach’s 330th birthday falls on March 21, the date of the concert, we have decided to dedicate the concert and celebrate his birthday with his works. Please read the flyer below for all details. It is going to be a fantastic concert! In addition to works of Bach,  we will be performing works by Mozart, Mendelssohn, and Schubert. There will be a PARTITA and a CANTATA and ARIAS from THE B MINOR MASS and ST. MATTHEW’S PASSION. Please join us for this wonderful concert in celebration of – to use Wagner’s words – the “Great Master BACH!!!”
