{"id":130,"date":"2012-10-16T22:16:55","date_gmt":"2012-10-17T02:16:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/muphiepsilonnycac.org\/wordpress\/?page_id=130"},"modified":"2012-10-16T22:16:55","modified_gmt":"2012-10-17T02:16:55","slug":"sean-merriweather","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/muphiepsilonnycac.org\/wordpress\/?page_id=130","title":{"rendered":"Sean Merriweather"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Soprano <strong>Sean Merriweather<\/strong>\u00a0 has performed operatic roles in Mozart\u2019s <strong><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Die Zauberfl\u00f6te<\/span><\/em><\/strong> (3 Ladies) and Gian Carlo Menotti\u2019s <strong><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">The Old Maid and the Thief<\/span><\/em><\/strong> (Miss Pinkerton) and has also appeared in musical theatre performing roles in <strong><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Annie<\/span><\/em><\/strong> and <strong><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Peter Pan<\/span><\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0 A recent graduate of Emory University where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music and Spanish, Ms. Merriweather studied voice with Kit Prothero, Bonnie Pomfret and Frank Jacobson and dance with Lori Teague and George Staib.\u00a0 During her college studies, she also performed in master class for soprano Virginia Dupuy and was a member of Emory University\u2019s only female a cappella ensemble \u201cThe Gathering\u201d while also singing in Emory\u2019s Madrigal Choir and University Chorus.
